This research study studied the perceptions of K-8 educators about the 24 gamification elements. In the gamified learning environments studied what are teacher perceptions of how the specific element of badges impact student engagement? What does badge implementation look like? How do students respond? What tools are teachers using to display, share, and implement badges in K-8 classrooms? Do students have a role in design and implementation, if so what does that look like?
