All too frequently, new product adoption involves learning how to use a resource. We have redesigned our professional learning to support pedagogy aligned to the ISTE standards & results in a demonstration of competency. We recently began to use badges to help educators better communicate their new knowledge, skills, & dispositions that include both "how-to" product knowledge related to Hāpara, but more importantly, deepen teaching practices related to deeper learning outcomes.
I love discussing OER esources that improve access for teachers and learners. I also love to talk about digital badges, micro-credentials, and project based learning.
