Open badges are a social innovation rooted in good intentions. As credentials become increasingly entwined with digital technologies, those intentions must be designed into the data models and interoperable infrastructures so we can fully realize the equitable promise of future-facing technologies. Join us as we think about the law of accelerating returns and computational power of credentials as they evolve from PDFs to digital credentials to verifiable learner employment records.
