Phil is a Senior Scholar at Georgetown University’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, and is the LER Community Manager for the T3 Learning and Employment Record Network of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He has consulted with many organizations & companies, such as ConcentricSky, Nextford University, ASU EdPlus for their Orchard Adaptive Learning Experience and Library, Sidwell Friends in Georgetown, and others. He’s currently on the Executive Boards or Steering Committees several organizations including International Council on Badges and Credentials, the Learning Economy Foundation, Interests include information architectures, credentialing, & ways to recognize skills, competencies & achievements. He has worked in learning analytics, emerging technologies, and the design of physical learning spaces. A lapsed biologist now learning scientist Phil enjoys scotch, running, travel and sailing (not in that order)
